Welcome to the Forest of Dean U3A. We are one of over 900 U3As in Britain. We were disappointed to not being able to celebrate our 30th Anniversary in 2020 due to the restrictions that were in place at the time.
The U3A is a national organisation which is open to anyone who is not in full time work. At the Forest of Dean U3A we have a range of groups catering for a variety of interests.
We hold a Monthly Open Meeting which is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Lydney Town Hall (doors open at 1.30pm for 2pm start, event finishing by 3.30pm). A speaker gives members a talk for about an hour. The following are the current range of speakers:
